Personality

Rodney is not easy to trust others, be they being or
fellow robot due to a bad start in his life. He is also more
of a runner than a fighter when caught in any unsavoury
situation. Due to this he has adapted a solitary lifestyle,
refusing to be adopted by any new owner, which is
considered highly unusual in his world.

Despite his unfriendly appearance he will often feel a
pang of loneliness and a need to help others in trouble.
He chalks that up to his creator’s programming, for the
most part, and hates it as it conflicts with his need to
survive and be alone. Yet deep down, he really does want to
be better than how he was in the past. This conflict he
often experiences has led to a lot of confusion
about himself, which feeds further into his
self-loathing and need to remain
isolated from society.

Strengths

• Very agile with great sense of balance
• Enhanced lower body strength; Kicks like a mule
• Excellent hearing due to large ears (and also being a robot)
• Street smarts and strong sense of intuition. knows how to spot trouble

Weaknesses

• Doesn’t know how to talk to people nor ask for help.
• Can get desperate for plans he’s determined to achieve, giving him ample opportunity to hurt others in more ways than just physical.
• Lacks completed basic education (equivalency of a middle school dropout); Easy for someone knowledgeable to outsmart.
• Lacks upper body strength; Easy for someone built to overpower.
• Children (will never hurt, no matter what, even if they intend to hurt him)

Fight Style

Developed a breakdancer-style defense technique as a way to fight without hurting others (at least not a lot).

Eyes

Rodney's eyes are able to light up, allowing for him and others to see in the dark. Though it doesn't seem to be something he uses for navigating, most of the time.

Heights

Rodney has an affinity for climbing and resting in trees and generally high places. This was developed from his need to stay away from people.

Dark

Dark places are both Rodney's worst fear and his best survival tool. It is unclear as to why he has a complicated relationship with it.
